C hecking correct earthing If the power distribution circuit does not have an earth or the earth does not comply with specifications, an earthing electrode must be installed. The corresponding accessories are not supplied with the air conditioner. Select an earthing electrode that complies with the specifications Carbon given in the illustration opposite.
F ixing the unit in position The outdoor unit must be installed on a rigid and stable base to avoid any increase in the noise level and vibration, particularly if the outdoor unit is to be installed close to a neighbour. If it is to be installed in a location exposed to strong winds or at a height, the unit must be fixed to an appropriate support (wall or ground).
C onnecting up and purging the circuit When installing, make sure there is no leakage. When recovering the refrigerant, ground the compressor first before removing the connection pipe. If the refrigerant pipe is not properly connected and the compressor works with the WARNING service valve open, the pipe inhales the air and it makes the pressure inside of the refrigerant cycle abnormally high.

Pump down operation Pumping down refrigerant ◆ After installing the product, be sure to perform leak tests on the piping connections. After pumping down refrigerant to inspect or relocate the outdoor WARNING unit, be sure to stop the compressor and then remove the connected pipes. Do not operate the compressor while a valve is open due to refrigerant leakage from a pipe or an unconnected or incorrectly connected pipe.
Wiring checking function This product is prohibited one indoor unit installation.
