Chapter 1 Introduction The Raritan PM is a Web-enabled Power Distribution Unit (PDU) with the ability to display the current locally and remotely over Ethernet. The meter consumes less than 5 Watts of power and has a +/-2% accuracy*. Some units support outlet-level metering, while others only support unit-level metering. - Page 6 Safety Guidelines The installation socket outlet used for the power supply to this equipment must be installed near the equipment and must be easily accessible. When installing this product, it is essential that the distribution circuit supplying the product is protected by a branch circuit protection device with a maximum rating to suit the product maximum rating.

View Raritan PM Status Once an IP address has been assigned to Raritan PM, you can type its IP address into a browser window to bring up the Raritan PM status page. Visit this page at any time to view the most up to date measurement of each circuit or outlet (on units with outlet level monitoring). -

SNMP/XML SNMP/XML In addition to the HTML based web pages, the Raritan PM PDU presents its data via SNMP and an XML page. To use the PDU with SNMP Client software, download the MIB from the link on the unit's web page and import it into your SNMP manager. -
