Chapter 1 Introduction The Raritan PM is a Web-enabled Power Distribution Unit (PDU) with the ability to display the current locally and remotely over Ethernet. The meter consumes less than 5 Watts of power and has a +/-2% accuracy*. Some units support outlet-level metering, while others only support unit-level metering.

Safety Guidelines The installation socket outlet used for the power supply to this equipment must be installed near the equipment and must be easily accessible. SNMP/XML SNMP/XML In addition to the HTML based web pages, the Raritan PM PDU presents its data via SNMP and an XML page. To use the PDU with SNMP Client software, download the MIB from the link on the unit's web page and import it into your SNMP manager.
Chapter 4: Using the Raritan PM Viewing the IP Address from the LED Display In the event that the IP address of the the Raritan PM is lost, it is possible to view the currently configured IP address on the unit's built-in LED display.
