Selecting the Cool Mode Select the Cool mode to lower the room temperature. Press the (ON/OFF) button to turn on the indoor unit. (Do not press the (ON/OFF) button if the remote control is on). Result: T he air conditioner will be turned on with the mode selected when the unit was last used.
Selecting the Heat Mode The Heat mode can be selected only on the heat pump models. Select the Heat mode to raise the room temperature. Press the (ON/OFF) button to turn on the indoor unit. (Do not press the (ON/OFF) button if the remote control is on).
Selecting the Dry Mode Select the Dry mode if the room is too humid. Using this mode will slightly lower the room temperature. Press the (ON/OFF) button to turn on the indoor unit. (Do not press the (ON/OFF) button if the remote control is on).
Selecting the Fan Mode Select the Fan mode to circulate air without changing the temperature. Press the (ON/OFF) button to turn on the indoor unit. (Do not press the (ON/OFF) button if the remote control is on). Result: T he air conditioner will be turned on with the mode selected when the unit was last used.
Displaying the Deice Mode When the Deice mode indicator is on, it means that the air conditioner is defrosting its outdoor unit under the Heat mode. W hen the air conditioner is under heating operation in cold weather, there may be frost generated by difference of the temperatures.
