This very sophisticated panel contains 786,432 pixels (× RGB) TFTs (Thin Film Transistors).     Cautions concerning the setup of the projector I For minimal servicing and to maintain high image qual- ity, SHARP recommends that this projector be installed in an area free from humidity, dust and cigarette smoke.     Before Connecting Note • Before connecting, be sure to unplug the power cord of the projector from the AC outlet and turn off the devices to be connected. After making all connections, turn on the projector and then the other devices.

    I This projector is compatible with VESA-standard DDC 1/DDC 2B. The projector and a VESA DDC compatible computer will communicate their setting requirements, allowing for quick and easy setup.     Connecting the Projector to Other Devices Using the Wireless Presentation Function of the Remote Control By connecting the remote receiver to a computer, wireless presentation control is possible. BACK and FORWARD buttons on the remote control will emulate the [Page Up] and [Page Down] keys on your computer keyboard.

    The projection of the image can be made higher by adjusting the projector when it is in a location lower than the screen. Press HEIGHT ADJUST. Lift the projector to adjust its height and remove your finger from HEIGHT ADJUST.

    Setup Adjusting the Lens The image is focused and adjusted to the desired size using the focus ring or zoom knob on the projector. The focus is adjusted by rotat- ing the focus ring. Zooming is adjusted by mov- ing the zoom knob.

    • A polarizing screen cannot be used with this projector. Three optional lenses from Sharp are also available for specialized application.     I When the dirt is hard to remove, soak a cloth in a neutral detergent diluted with water, wring the cloth well and then wipe the projector. Strong cleaning detergents may discolor, warp or damage the coating on the projector.

    100 hours of use. Clean the filters more often when the projector is used in a dusty or smoky location. • Ask your nearest Sharp Authorized Projector Dealer or Service Center to exchange the filter (PFILDA005WJZZ) when it is no longer possible to clean.

I If a problem occurs, either the temperature warning indicator or the lamp indicator will illuminate red, and the projector will enter the standby mode.
