    4. Replace the cover. If the radio operates erratically or does not receive strong FM stations, re- place the AA batteries. Replace the AAA batteries about every six months. Caution: Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.

    Using an adapter that does not meet these spec- ifications could damage the radio or the adapter. • Always plug the adapter into the radio before you plug it into the AC outlet. Always unplug the AC adapter from the AC outlet before you unplug it from the radio.

    USING THE STAND You can use the radio’s stand to set the radio at an angle so you can eas- ily see the display. Simply lift the stand away from the back of the radio and set the radio on a flat surface.
