Before you begin disassembly, read the following safety precautions and observe them carefully as you work. CAUTION: The battery pack is a lithium ion battery, which can explode if not properly replaced, used, handled or disposed of. For environmental reasons, collect the spent battery packs. Use only batteries recommended by Toshiba as replacements. NOTE: Check the battery's terminals visually. If they are dirty, wipe them clean with a dry cloth.
